Three Dots Entertainment fires up with LALA’S GUN!2008-09-29
Three Dots Entertainment has picked up international sales rights of Chinese film LALA'S GUN, directed by sixth generation director Ning Jingwu.
LALA'S GUN is a coming-of-age story about a boy who goes on a journey to search for his father. The film is shot completely on location in Guizhou, southwestern province of China, and set in the actual Miao (a.k.a. Hmong) village of Ba Sha. All the actors are non-professionals, scouted from the village and nearby area, and most have never seen a movie in their lives.
LALA’S GUN will have a screening in the Asian Film Market on Oct 5th, at 6:00 PM, Megabox 10.

Written and directed by Zero Chou (SPIDER LILIES), the project is a lyrical version of APOCALYPTO, and tells the extraordinary tale of indigenous tribes living in the deepest mountains of Taiwan who practice ritualistic head-hunting raids for the glory of their gods.
